Because I have been given much!

I know that I tend to share a lot of hymns on this blog but how powerful the word of songs can have on our lives and truly make you think. You can sing a song all the time and just really seems to stick out to you at the time you really need it in your life. We sand this song in church today and it just really seemed to stick out to me today.

I cannot see another’s lack and I not share
My glowing fire, my loaf of bread,

Because I have been blessed by
thy great love dear Lord
I’ll share thy love again
According to thy word
I shall give love to those in need
I’ll show that love by word and deed
Thus shall my thanks be thanks in deed

 

How great it is to know that we have been truly been blessed by our Savior and have received so many blessings from Him. I feel that whenever we near Thanksgiving and especially when we get to November we all start to think about the many blessings we have received.

 

How great we would feel if we took the time all year to remember the many blessings that we have received in our life? Take time to see the many times that the Lord has been in our lives? Take the time to share our blessings with those around us.
