Come Thou Fount

I first really came to love this song when I went on Heritage Tours after graduating from High School. We were in families and this became my families song. When I think of this song I always associate it with Thanksgiving.

This is my favorite verse out of the song:

O to grace how great a debtor
daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.

How true it is that we tend to wander. We just need to let the Lord know that he has our heart and that we choose to follow Him and try to stay on the path home.
